The 2015 Road to BlizzCon is heating up for European Hearthstone players! After months of Ranked Play seasons, cups and community tournaments, and Fireside Gatherings, Europe’s top players will start securing their spots on the 12th of September at the 2015 European Qualifier tournament.
If you’ve been earning Hearthstone World Championship points and think you can take on the best players in Europe, you still have a chance to compete! There are 40 spots available, and here’s how they’re decided:
- 23 players with the most 2015 Hearthstone World Championship points earned through European Ranked Play seasons and Blizzard-sanctioned tournaments since January 31 (the top eight point earners will begin the double-elimination tournament from the upper bracket of the round of 16).
- 16 top players from the Last Call Tournament *. Players who have earned at least 2 points during the qualifying period will join together for a massive brawl beginning on the 5th of September. The last 16 competitors standing will join the 24 pre-qualified players in the European Qualifiers.
- 1 Grand Champion of the European Fireside Gathering Championship to be crowned on the 29th of August in Levallois-Perret, France.

Once the forty players have been selected the second qualification phase will begin. These players will face each other on 12-13 September and 18-20 September. The Road to BlizzCon will continue for the top eight players to emerge from the European Qualifier—they’ll earn passage to the Hearthstone European Championship taking place in Prague, Czech Republic on October 3rd and 4th!
There will be plenty to play for at the European Championship, where gamers will battle it out for a share of $25,000 USD in prize money which will be divided as follows:

The top four card-slingers will also earn the chance to compete against the best gamers from the rest of the globe in the Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon in November 6th and 7th.
