The 2016 Hearthstone Championship Tour reached its epic conclusion today as 16 of the best Hearthstone players in the world duelled valiantly for the title of 2016 Hearthstone World Champion. These players competed throughout the year in online Cups, onsite tournaments, and Ranked Play ladder to earn enough HCT points to participate in and win one of the Season Championships or Last Calls. They’ve been honing their craft all year with the ever-changing competitive landscape only to put it all to the test in the year’s largest tournament and it’s $1 million USD prize pool!

2016 saw the introduction of the Hearthstone Championship Tour, Standard format, and a much higher level of competition. We saw many familiar faces, long-time competitive players come into the limelight, and innovative fresh faces burst into the scene. Ultimately, Pavel managed to prepare and pilot his decks the best to navigate through the tough sea of competitors and be our 2016 Hearthstone World Champion!
